I love it!

Great camera overall, I have a 5DM3 and the controls are quite similar so no learning curve to speak of. I really appreciate being able to zoom in on the touch screen and especially love the wifi feature which is very useful where I'm official photographer at dog shows, and also for portrait...

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV

The EOS 5D Mark IV is a big upgrade for pro photographers invested in the Canon system. It ups the resolution, putting it in the same class with Nikon's D810, while also bettering its closest competitor in frame rate, video capture capabilities, and Live View focus.

30MP full-frame image sensor; Fast 61-point autofocus system; 7fps continuous shooting; Unlimited JPG shooting buffer; Pro-grade build; Dual Pixel AF Live View focus system; 3.2-inch touch screen; Integrated GPS and Wi-Fi; CF and SD card slots

Cropped 4K video; Clean HDMI output is 1080p only; Dual Pixel Raw function slows camera and offers limited benefits; 4K video files are quite large; Omits in-body flash

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV

The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV is among the best full-frame DSLRs out in the market right now. It offers great colour accuracy, along with precise autofocus and good ISO performance. Adding to that are ease of usage, Canon's wide range of lenses, accessories and support.

True-to-source colours; Great contrast; vibrancy; Fast; precise autofocus; Sturdier body

Tendency to over-sharpen photographs at times

There can be absolutely no dispute that this is a stunning camera that is set to carry on the family name admirably. It's highly likely that it will be the professional workhorse of choice for the foreseeable future, and it's versatile enough to be able to turn its hand to any photographic genre.

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV review: Approaching perfection

The Canon 5D Mark IV promises to be everything you could hope for in an SLR. As per previous 5D models, it has a full-frame sensor, a big 0.71x viewfinder, a weather-sealed magnesium-alloy body, and plentiful controls and sockets.

Great autofocus in video; 4K video capture; Peerless image quality

No articulated screen; Motion JPEG video capture result in enormous file sizes

Canon 5d Mark iv

"Well I've had this camera 4 months now, and is just awesome. The 24-70 f4.0 lens Picture quality is amazingly sharp. The bottom line is that I prefer this lens combination over the 24-105. Don't get me wrong both lines are great, but the 24-70 has macro feature which is very sharp.
