All around great camera
I bought this camera right after Christmas because it was on sale for my sister. I've used it a few times since then and have really enjoyed the camera. I think it would be a good camera for someone who is newer to DLSR photography. The battery life and the image quality are great.

I'm happy with the Canon brand
With cameras, one seems to always want something 'better'. I felt the same way after researching these SLRs and getting this one because of the price. I'd rather have higher MPs (like 24 - 30) or an extra zoom lens, which other combos had.

Don't use outside
Absolutely amazing camera regarding quality of photo's,ease of use etc. However it is very vulnerable to water ingress. I got caught in a rain shower and the camera got very slightly wet, and I honestly mean VERY SLIGHTLY. It would not turn on after that.

A fantastic DSLR for amateur photographers - I would definitely recommend this. Great kit lens and a telephoto lens. Good value for money.

The perfect camera to start off photography in the DSLR world. Decent ISO sensor, sturdy build, nice features and very portable. Bundled 18-55mm lens is perfect for general purpose photography; focal range is decent, image quality is great for a kit lens, f-stop range could be better but still good...
Pros:
- perfect starters DSLR cam
- great portability
Cons:
- Nothing so far

What a deal! Perfect kit for small hands, travel and more.
If you are looking for an excellent and small DSLR, look no further. This is the smallest DSLR that I have seen. I bought it for my wife who has a very difficult time with my full-frame cameras. She loves the size and the weight. The kit includes two versatile lenses in the 18-55mm and the 75-300mm.
