Canon EOS Rebel SL1
Canon's high-performing EOS Rebel SL1 is the tiniest digital SLR you can put your hands on, but it may be too small for some hands.

Canon EOS 100D review
The 18-megapixel EOS 100D is the literally smaller brother to the 700D sitting at the summit of Canon's APS-C sensor-based digital SLR range.
Pros:
- Smaller and lighter build makes carrying DSLR body and lens less of a drag
- yet more compact proportions haven't obviously compromised picture quality
Cons:
- The lighter construction results in more obvious camera shake in lower light
- no angle adjustable LCD plus a smaller handgrip than the 700D which costs just 50 quid more

Canon EOS 100D review
When Canon came to update the EOS 650D DSLR it did something not entirely expected: while the inevitable EOS 700D surfaced, so too did the brand new EOS 100D, a shrunken DSLR some 25 per cent smaller and 28 per cent lighter than the DSLR. A whole new category is born. Well, sort of.
Pros:
- Small size
- autofocus is swift
- no compromise to image quality
- live view responsive
- touchscreen
- engineering marvel in many respects
- battery life lasted well
Cons:
- Small size
- less advanced AF system than 700D and similar Canon models
- less featured than 700D and similar models
- viewfinder settings not particularly bright
- some viewfinder AF point bleed

This is NOT a scaled down version of other DSLRs. It is packed with the same features you would find in a full size body one. The touch screen is great especially if you are a smart phone user and are used to such things. Beware of changing settings with your nose though!! It can happen.

Canon 100D review
The interchangeable lens camera market has shifted significantly over the past couple of years. Where once the bulky DSLR was the undisputed king, now smaller, compact system cameras are making significant headway into stealing the crown.

Canon EOS 100D
Perhaps a strange time of year to be sent a DSLR unit with a 55-250mm lens as this requires either very large rooms or outside use to get the best from it, however so far the weather has been kind and my short time with it was productive.
