Great all-purpose Super35mm lens
This lens basically lives on my Canon C100. It has a great zoom range, it's lightweight, compact, and sharp. With the addition of the PZ-E1 Power Zoom Adapter, it operates much like an ENG lens, capable of smooth zoom shots.

Great for the price, very user friendly.
I have had this lens for about a month now and used it quite a lot, I am taking photos almost every day. I also had the previous version of this lens which was OK but didn't get that much use.

Multi Purpose Lens!
I do portait, indoors and outdoor photography. This lens allows me to be in many places at one time sort of speak. Tt's range and ease make it so I can shoot in good light and in semi low light conditions. With great results.

Pros:
- Acceptable build quality Metal mount Very good image quality Good 'feel
Cons:
- None

Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens

Providing a focal length range equivalent to 29-216mm in 35mm format, the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS covers both wide enough angles for landscape photography...

Great value walk-around lens
This lens is a worthy alternative to the standard kit lens for your crop-sensor Canon SLR. The very flexible focal range and fast, accurate auto-focus make it a good option to stick on the front of your camera if you want to leave the rest of your kit at home for the day.
Pros:
- quick auto-focus
- flexible focal range
Cons:
- not as sharp as some
- poor manual focus ring

The much Better Option!
If you are going to buy your first Canon DSLR like the 1100D, 550D or even the 60D then do opt for the better kit lens, that is the Canon 18-135. Why? Well you will outgrow the 18-55 soon. Optically this one is far better than the 18-55 kit and you will have this on your camera for a longer time.
