Looks can be deceiving
This is a classic case of do not judge a book by its cover, this little lightweight lens really takes nice pictures, just goes to show canon can make lenses for a lot less money, yes the casing is weak if you intend to play cricket with it ( not advisable ) it will not last long but put it on your- Sharp Focus

Great Lens!
This lens is awesome. First lens I've used other than the kit lens. Its SO Sharp! Not sure if I'll ever even use the kit lens again. Highly recommended, can't believe the price. Its too bad there are no other lenses of this quality anywhere near this price range.
