Does a good job with prints or slides, scans of negatives are overexposed and washed out. I bought 2 of these and the both do the same thing. Print scanner software is great and auto crops prints. The organizer software is clumsey and convoluted.

I used this to scan 35mm slides, 35mm color negatives and color slides, as well as 110mm color negatives (although this isn't part of the specifications). Looking over my shoulder recently, I was surprised at how much I have come to depend on a scanner. Early on, I had a love/hate relationship with desktop scanners, mainly because of their early and fiddly operating software. And don't bring up the topic of dedicated film scanners!
I received the Canon CanoScan 5600F scanner as a gift for mother's day.
