Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for the Wii is not the same beast as its next-gen counterparts. That's an easy observation to make even if you've only spent five minutes with the game, but it sticks throughout the entire experience.

You'd never ascertain the popularity of the Call of Duty franchise based on internet chatter. With seemingly just as many detractors as supporters, the franchise has been a victim of schadenfreude while laughing all the way to the bank.

Parents need to know that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is an extremely violent first-person military shooter. Players spend the vast majority of their time engaged in frenetic firefights, killing hundreds of enemy combatants with a wide variety of realistic weapons ranging from guns to bombs.

We play Modern Warfare 3's new version of Spec Ops, an endless survival mode that's far deeper than just Black Ops' "zombies" mode sans zombies.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is rated M for "Blood and Gore; Drug Reference; Intense Violence; Strong Language".

The controls are NOT easy. The sensitivity if all over the place. Hard to get good control of the game play. Screens are dark and can't see the stairs and people below and where you are walking. Over all, meh. I am sure you get used to it, but it's not easy.
