Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is the follow-up to 2009's intensely popular Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 , and is the eighth Call of Duty game overall. If you've walked into any store that sells video games since its release on November 8, 2011, you've probably seen posters advertising it, or...

The biggest multiplayer community on any console

The blandest campaign we've played in a while; The same graphics engine as Modern Warfare 2; A severe lack of quality hidden beneath massive hype

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for the Wii is not the same beast as its next-gen counterparts. That's an easy observation to make even if you've only spent five minutes with the game, but it sticks throughout the entire experience.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

You'd never ascertain the popularity of the Call of Duty franchise based on internet chatter. With seemingly just as many detractors as supporters, the franchise has been a victim of schadenfreude while laughing all the way to the bank.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

In the midst of what's purportedly the largest entertainment launch in history yet again-the Call of Duty series has set and shattered the climbing record for three consecutive years-Activision and Treyarch have quietly released a Wii version of the modern military juggernaut for those who,...

Ceaseless action; Formula is still entertaining; Multiple; effective control options; Solid online multiplayer

Excessive lag during Spec Ops; Lack of new multiplayer/Spec Ops modes; Occasional framerate dips; Premise is showing its age

Gamertell Review: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for Wii

[ Note: Although Activision was kind enough to provide us with a review copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, they haven't supplied us with screenshots for the Wii version. As such, the images below represent the Xbox 360 and PS3 version. Don't get your hopes up.

Bloody military shooter with disturbing cinematic moments.

Parents need to know that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is an extremely violent first-person military shooter. Players spend the vast majority of their time engaged in frenetic firefights, killing hundreds of enemy combatants with a wide variety of realistic weapons ranging from guns to bombs.

E3 2011: MWF3: Spec Ops Survival is astounding

We play Modern Warfare 3's new version of Spec Ops, an endless survival mode that's far deeper than just Black Ops' "zombies" mode sans zombies.

Not that good. Don't recommend.

The controls are NOT easy. The sensitivity if all over the place. Hard to get good control of the game play. Screens are dark and can't see the stairs and people below and where you are walking. Over all, meh. I am sure you get used to it, but it's not easy.
