If you can't get enough of Call of Duty's multiplayer action, Ghosts certainly delivers the goods. The more casual players might be disappointed at its incremental refinement and spectacular, but all-too-short single-player campaign.

Call of Duty, the PS4 version, looks great, sounds great, but plays okay. Todd Hargosh already gave an in-depth Xbox 360 review of the game. Mine concerns itself with the PS4 version and the differences between the game on the last generation hardware versus the latest gear.
Since 2008, every Call of Duty release has featured a Modern Warfare or Black Ops subtitle in its name. After finishing the Modern Warfare story with the decisive conclusion of its third entry, Infinity Ward had every chance to inject the long-running series with new life.
I was going to write a mock review. But whatever. I really only used to come onto sites like this to laugh at what people say about games but I need to be honest here. THERE IS LOTS OF VIOLENCE AND GUNS. There is swearing. There is violent death and executions and blood.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is a really fun game, personally my favorite. It's right before the whole "let's make everything super futuristic and weird" phase so things are retty interesting. tbh I bought this just for the Aliens: Extinction mode though. 10x better than the same ol' same ol' zombies.
There is innovation here and even if it's not always in exactly the areas you'd wish it's enough to ensure that Call Of Duty's status as the world's favourite FPS is still largely deserved.
The campaign has some great moments and both Squads and Extinction are very welcome additions to the multiplayer; Some excellent new maps and play modes; Solid visuals
The first half of the story campaign is very formulaic and there are no significant changes to the competitive multiplayer
Great game
Two years ago we finally saw the culmination of the acclaimed Modern Warfare series by Infinity Ward, leading many fans to wonder what the studio's next step would be and how would it compare to the name that put Call of Duty where it is.
Incredibly fun multiplayer; Numerous modes; Impressive visuals; Well thought out; Knee sliding
The campaign; short and unsatisfying; The dog
Call of Duty: Ghosts is a great new addition to the franchise but it is definitely showing its age now. Far too many invisible walls and glitches in the single player campaign show a lack of due care and attention which I didn't expect from Infinity Ward.
Call of Duty Ghosts is the next instalment of this franchise and although it doesn't reach the same dizzying heights of the aforementioned games, it still gives the player a very entertaining and honest gaming experience.
