Decent game

Out of the three new COD games featuring futuristic type warfare, this game (in my opinion) is the best because at the time of its release, this idea was new. Now it has become repetitive.

Xbox One Review - 'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare'

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is the first game in the series to benefit from a full three-year development cycle, so we expected big things. With Kevin Spacey on board as one of the lead characters and plenty of visual spectacle, the game was set up for success, but it ended up being more flash...

Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare – Havoc DLC review – unleash the Exo zombie dogs of war

It offers no surprises or innovation, least of all in the new Exo Zombies mode, but most of the new maps are great and this first download is surprisingly good value.

Core, Sideshow, and Drift are great maps and very varied in style and visuals; Exo Zombies reuses the Treyarch formula to good effect and the celeb voiceovers are great

Urban is pretty forgettable; Exo Zombies is fine and all, but it seems a shame that both of Advanced Warfare's co-op modes are straight copies from previous games

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Multiplayer feels wonderfully fresh, thanks to the added agility of Exo Suit boosting. Sadly, though, co-op is unimaginative, and the story fails to satisfy when compared to previous installments.

Massive multiplayer offering; Fresh gameplay mechanics in single and multiplayer; Outstanding visuals

Underwhelming campaign; Unimaginative co-op setting

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Xbox One Review

Call of Duty is immense, a true juggernaut of the gaming industry that has now been running long enough to feel as it's running out of ideas somewhat. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare however has a new lead developer in Sledgehammer Games, a fresh setting, a new engine, some genuinely fresh ideas for...

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare' is a true hit; it may be too soon to call it a masterpiece in general, however, narrowing one's focus to the franchise, it is an unequivocal masterpiece, perhaps only outclassed by the now-dated but streamlined 'Modern Warfare 2' and mind-bending story of 'Black...

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Xbox One

For years now I have maintained the equation to calculate the amount of fun any given player might derive from a Call of Duty game hinged more on the...

Exo suits freshen gameplay; Decent campaign; Improved visuals

Multiplayer system stale; Bland co-op mode; Unpredictable online experience; Still tough on newcomers

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

That a "new" version of Call of Duty is going to show up every year is now as obvious as the sky being blue. The reason for quotations over the word "new" is that different iterations in recent years have only differed marginally from each other.
