I have never installed anything on my computer that was more of a PITA, than the software for this printer. It was absolutely ridicules. Be careful where you grab it if you want to move it. It's very easy to stick your fingers where they may break the flimsy case.

It's outclassed as a photo printer but Brother's MFC-J825DW doesn't even offer much in the way of advanced office features to help it stand out from the bunch (includes Canon PIXMA MX926 , HP Photosmart 7520 and Epson Expression Premium XP-700 ).

The MFC-J825DW is one of the most fully-featured inkjet MFPs in Brother's range. It can print, scan, copy and fax, connect to wired or wireless networks, and print photos directly from a memory card.

I couldn't get this printer to print, so I was on phone support with a Brother technician for about an hour and a half. Come to find out, this printer is OLD and out of warranty, AND defective! This was advertised as new. New should work.
