Brother MFC-J825DW review
It's not as sleek as the HP Envy 110, but Brother's new MFC-J825DW is still pretty neatly designed considering that it crams a printer, scanner, copier and fax machine into its compact black chassis.
Pros:
- Compact, four-in-one printer
- good text and photo output at respectable speeds
- reasonably priced ink
Cons:
- Needs software update for Lion and AirPrint

good for the price
Was looking for an inexpensive all in one and bought this one on sale. I have been impressed so far with how easy it was to setup and how well it works on wifi. I even downloaded the brother app and was able to print directly with an ipad and iphone.

Brother MFC-J825DW review: Brother MFC-J825DW
The Brother MFC-J825DW packs in plenty of features and produces printed documents speedily, but it's marred by below-par print quality across text, graphics and photos. The MFC-J825DW sits towards the top of Brother's current range of multi-function printers and as such has plenty of features.
Pros:
- Large touchscreen
- Duplex support
- Direct CD/DVD printing
- Handy iPrint&Scan mobile app.
Cons:
- Below-par text output
- Colours lack impact.
