Amazing
I bought this product for an inexpensive way to print marketing material, and it has exceeded my expectations. The speed, price per page and quality of printing make this the best printer for it's price point.

Nice printer
This is a very nice printer. The best option that it has , is the emailing your documents directly to your email. It does everything and more. The only negative this is that it is too big. You will need a large desk to accommodate the size.
Pros:
- direct emailing double side printing
Cons:
- too big

Great brand-new MFC laser machine at a very fair price!
I've only had the printer a couple of weeks, but--so far--it works like a dream! It replaced an earlier version of a Brother MFC color laser that died. It's amazing how much easier this one was to install and begin using--didn't need to complete any of the cumbersome steps I had to take with the old...

Actually I spent about an hour, using the first half hour to make sure that it was unpacked fully and properly to assure a good startup. Connected to the U-Verse static address and was online to full network discovery almost effortlessly.

Brother MFC-9970CDW
The MFC-9970CDW is Brother's flagship colour laser MFP, aimed at workgroups of up to ten users. This compact unit will sit on a desk, yet claims print speeds of 28ppm in colour. It includes automatic duplexing, has an intuitive 5in colour touchscreen, and it's also 802.11g Wi-Fi-ready.

Great Features
This printer is a very good product. We bought it mostly as a backup and scanner. <br /><br />Works very well for what we bought it for. I like the email features available on the printer.
Pros:
- Accurate Colors
- Efficient
- Fast
- Sharp Detail

70lbs of features, limited control
Turns out that all of the documents scanned are stored in 1 image.pdf. No way to make each document a separate file, AND there is no way to change the name of the file. So even emailing each document one at a time results in lots of emails with the same file name. Might as well revert back to FAX.
Pros:
- 3,000 characters is not enough to describe the good and bad of this beast
- You can visit the Brother website for the many positive qualities of this machine
- There is a reason this machine has 4 manuals, each 100+ pages
- It does come with a quick setup, and one of the 4 large manuals printed.
Cons:
- I am required to submit documents to the home office
- The scan to email was a great feature, I can loose the fax line completely.

Purchased this to replace an old Brother Multi Function that had been squeaking when the ADF was used to scan, copy, or fax, but which had been a real workhorse for years. The biggest plus on the new one is the scan speed which is much faster than the previous model.
