Wished I had bought this machine a lot sooner instead of fighting my aging, costly inkjets. The quality is amazing and the features allow for so much flexibility and it's economical too. What more could you ask for? I love my machine.

I love the fact it's wireless. I haven't had any problems printing from anywhere in my house, even two floors above where the printer is located. I have used the fax as well as the convenient multiple page photocopier a few times and they work perfectly.
Easy to install, works as expected. The double side feature is a real saver in paper and gives the finished printout a more professional look.
Similar in most ways to the less expensive Brother MFC-7360n ($200 street, 3.5 stars) that I recently reviewed, the Brother MFC-7860DW ($300 street) adds a slightly faster engine, WiFi, and a duplexer (for two-sided printing).
Suitably small for personal use or for a micro office; Ethernet and WiFi; Duplexer; Single-sheet manual feed
No paper handling upgrade options
bought for fax and scan for an office. So far no complaints. The setup was quick and easy, and the printer works like a charm.
good price; easy set up; small form factor; cheap toner refills; easy networking

This is an excellent multi-function device - monochrome laser printer, fax machine, color scanner and monochrome copier. The price of the toner and drum are relatively reasonable and the speed is excellent.
The mono laser multifunction printer can fairly be described as a workhorse of the small office. It has taken the place of the photocopier as the major ‘can't live without' piece of desktop equipment, providing print, copy, scan and, in the case of Brother's MFC-7860DW, fax.
Quick print for class; Duplex print as standard; Wireless connection with WPS setup
Poor greyscale copying; Above average running costs; High purchase price
The setup took just a few minutes. Exclusive build quality and software. I had a SCX3405w from Samsung before and considered it good. Well, not until I bought this MFC. Quiet, fast, and quiet. Highly recommended.
I have a very busy office and every day I get a few hundred fax pages. At least once a week I do a ton of two-sided printing. Almost never a problem. Two issues - sometimes if a large amount if fax pages were received there might be an easy to fix paper jam, and even with the high yield toner drum I...
I bought this to replace a MFC8840dn which has served us well over the
