Brother HL-5450DN Network Ready Mono Laser Printer Duplex

Quick, easy to use and double sided printing. I don't know how I survived before I got this Brother HL-5450DN printer! Everything is running smoothly and I have had it almost a month, printing more than 500 sheets every week.

Durable

I read a bunch of reviews and this is a VERY durable printer. I just got it, so I can't say much about the durability yet. Although, it seems a bit expensive for just a black and white printer and non wireless.

Great reviews; easy to use; cheap cartidges

Overpriced for what you get

Good with niggling flaws

I've upgraded through three low-end Brother laser printers, from a basic simplex model to duplex, and now to one that (sort-of) supports Google Cloudprint. Alas, there is a bug with the Cloudprint feature such that the printer "signs out" and goes offline after a few days.

HL-5450DN LASER 40PPM NETWORK DUPLEX

Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Typically I do a lot of research before buying. Ultimately I decided on the HL-5450DN and PCNATION hit the right price point.

I replaced my aged HP 6p with the HL-5450DN; The Brother is FAST and the printing looks nice and concise along with the graphics

Kinda noisy but when it kicks in it races through the job; Also, Air Print was listed as a feature but you have to be configured in a network for it to work.

The latest printer to hit the market is Brother HL-5450D N, which has been added with some advanced functions and features. This new monochrome laser printer does come with low memory and lacks wireless connectivity. It has been included with status lights instead of an LCD-based menu system.

Excellent paper handling; Affordable; Compact size; Good printing quality

Lacks Wi-Fi; No LCD-based menu system

Surprisingly Easy To Setup and Good Quality Prints

I am not normally a fan of Brother products. However, a good review from PC Magazine convinced me to try it. Set-up was easy and straight forward for windows 7. Print qulity is very good. Speed and duplexing are fine. I would recommend.

Easy to Use; Meets Expectations; Features

Some people complained about the unit blowing fuses, so I did not plug it into a power strip, but straight into a 15A wall outlet. Not one single problem!

A great little printer for medium to high volume printing.

Ive never been too picky with printers, in fact this was the first one i bought for myself, the rest have been family printers. I don't do an excessive amount of printing but i do need to print multiple times a week and most of the time i print in bulk.

Love this machine!

This new printer replaces my Brother 5140 that I used for 10 years. It just quietly died and I mourned for a week. The 5450 is so similar, uses the same toner cartridge, but prints twice as fast and automatically prints two sides, if needed. Excellent quality for the price.
