Brother HL-2270DW

The market for small, desktop, mono laser printers is crowded, with the main differentiators being speed, duplex print and wireless connection. Brother's HL-2270DW has the last two of these and a claimed top speed of 26ppm.

Small footprint; low profile; 1,200 page starter toner; Cabled network support

Messy WPS setup; No NFC support; No expansion potential

Brother HL-2270DW Monochrome Wireless Laser Printer with Duplex

High speed, duplexing, fantastic print good quality, Unbelievable price, great support for Linux (even duplexing). Price of toner, but by the time I need to replace the toner cartridge, I'm confident that prices and sources will be equivalent to the current prices and sources for the HL-2170w.

Brother HL-2270DW Laser Printer

The HL-2270DW is a different kind of portable printer in that it's really more for use with documents and presentation materials that you'd find in an office setting. This isn't one you'd want to use for printing photographs on the go.

"Brother HL-2270DW: Effective for daily home users"

Recently, I just bought the Brother HL-2270DW printer for usage in my university hostel. I must say the experience so far has been wonderful. I will start from the setup. The setup instructions were easy to follow and I got my printer up and ready within 10 minutes from unboxing it.

Cheap; Easy to setup; Fast printing speed

Picture quality will be compromised

Brother HL-2270DW review

Automatic duplexing and wireless make the Brother HL-2270DW a more-than-basic laser printer, but its toner costs are high.

Brother's new mono laser range aims to cover all the bases. It starts with the HL-2240's 250-sheet tray and 24ppm claimed speed, then adds a duplexer for the HL-2240D, networking and a speed boost for the HL-2250DN, and wireless to all that for this, the flagship HL-2270DW.

Brother HL-2270DW laser printer review

Devices like the Xerox Workcentre 3550 make medium and high-volume output a breeze for large departments, but smaller businesses looking for a printer for single-user or small workgroup environments are likely to find it prohibitively expensive.

Just love this and every product from U*****

I own five of these and just love them. I also like the fact that I can use the same toner in the MFC-7860DW (I own two of these). It does all that I need and I am able to run my business and a busy home.

Brother HL-2270DW review: Brother HL-2270DW

The Brother HL-2270DW laser monochrome printer provides a viable alternative to the classic bottomless money pit that has become today's inkjet printer. Modern photo, tricolor, and high-capacity ink cartridges can cost anywhere from $20 to $100 per refill, so multiply that by your volume of prints and try not to balk at the true cost of operation. As an alternative, supplementing a printer setup with an inexpensive black-and-white laser printer can cut costs in home offices that cycle through black ink cartridges with text-only documents. Although it's not without its shortcomings such as poor graphic document output, the Brother HL-2270DW balances out with speedy text printing and simple 802.11 b/g wireless for $149.99.

With improvements to its output speed, the Brother HL-2270DW improves on its legacy model and provides small businesses an efficient output device for high-volume black-and-white prints.

The Brother HL-2270DW lives up to Brother's reputation for reliable; easy-to-use; wireless monochrome laser printers.

The printer struggles to provide visually acceptable graphic documents.
