Automatic duplexing and wireless make the Brother HL-2270DW a more-than-basic laser printer, but its toner costs are high.

This printer is awesome
Great printer for the money, especially if you can find it on sale. Genuine printer cartridges are also very cheap and I find them in most tech store circulars at a discount at times only slightly higher than remanufactured.
Pros:
- Cost-effective
- Prints fast
- Wireless, duplexing built-in
- High capacity toner cartridge last 4 times as long as in-box original
Cons:
- Some issues printing on Window machines when printing to it on Wifi though it works without any issue on my Macs

"Brother HL-2270DW: Effective for daily home users"
Recently, I just bought the Brother HL-2270DW printer for usage in my university hostel. I must say the experience so far has been wonderful. I will start from the setup. The setup instructions were easy to follow and I got my printer up and ready within 10 minutes from unboxing it.
Pros:
- Cheap
- Easy to setup
- Fast printing speed
Cons:
- Picture quality will be compromised

Printed 45 copies of a 6 page newsletter and toner ran out. Total of 270 pages. This newsletter has photos on 4 of the 6 pages, so let's say this would be the equivalent of printing say 360 pages, plus 90 normal pages, total of 450 pages.

Just love this and every product from U*****
I own five of these and just love them. I also like the fact that I can use the same toner in the MFC-7860DW (I own two of these). It does all that I need and I am able to run my business and a busy home.

Devices like the Xerox Workcentre 3550 make medium and high-volume output a breeze for large departments, but smaller businesses looking for a printer for single-user or small workgroup environments are likely to find it prohibitively expensive.
