Probably the best purchase I've made in years and purchased on a special deal. Absolutely indispensable device for my office for printing documents, research information and PDF books. Easy to set-up via Ethernet (RJ45) cable, direct to router, via network switch or powerline adapter.

Purchased as a replacement stand alone unit, in our workshop. Robust design without any frills. Just what we wanted.

This machine from Brother is a very good little printer for the money. It's quick and convenient to use and produces good quality text print. Greyscale graphics and photos aren't quite so good, but for general SOHO duties it should sit quietly in the corner of your desk and just get on with the job.

Brother is not a name that is very popular in India but this printer is perfect for a small business. It has built-in networking and can print automatically on both sides of the page. It is fast to print and the prints are crisp. We are very happy with this printer.

The HL-2250DN sits towards the bottom of Brother's current line-up of monochrome laser printers. But, despite its low price tag of around £120, it still manages to offer a few extras, not least of which is the ability to automatically print on both sides of a sheet of paper.

The Brother HL-2250DN monochrome laser printer may not offer the cheapest running costs on the market, but it's competitively priced, doesn't take up much space, and produces good results at a decent speed.

Low price; duplex printing; Ethernet support; good text quality.
