Brother DCP-7055
A simple mono laser printer will set you back around £80 and for less than 50 per cent more you can have one with a scanner, making a multifunction printer that can stand in for a photocopier.
Pros:
- Quick print for class
- Good text print quality
- Thorough software bundle
Cons:
- Very poor greyscale copy quality
- Currently
- expensive to run
- No wireless or duplex options

A Laser Multi-Function : Brother DCP-7055
I was impressed with the performance of this multi-function device. Print quality was good with reasonable speeds being achieved. Brother has priced this unit very competitively at £99. A replacement toner cartridge, rated at 1,500 pages, is priced at £49,79 while a replacement drum, rated at...

Brother DCP-7055 review Review
The Brother DCP-7055 isn't a bad entry-level multi-function printer, but nor is it one of the better ones on the market. It produces good-quality text prints at a reasonable speed, but it's let down by its poor graphics performance and relatively high running costs.
Pros:
- Fast photocopying speed
- Good scanning quality
- Impressive text prints
Cons:
- Graphics print quality isn't great
- Fairly high running costs

Brother DCP-7055 review: Brother DCP-7055
The Brother DCP-7055 multi-function, monochrome laser printer is inexpensive, easy to use and produces good-quality text output. But its relatively high running costs and less-than-impressive graphics results are disappointing. Brother's DCP-7055 sits at the bottom of its multi-function laser printer range, offering scanning and copying features, alongside its monochrome printing capabilities. Priced at around £120, it isn't much more expensive than most simple laser printers, so just how well does it perform?
Pros:
- Fast photocopying speed
- good scanning quality
- impressive text prints.
Cons:
- Graphics print quality isn't great
- fairly high running costs.

Simple, cheap and fairly easy laser printer/copier - the downside is cartridges don't last long and irritating messages keep popping up to get a new one from the Brother website. When it gets low, it just stops printing - even if you remove the drum and shake the toner, which should give it more...
Pros:
- cheap - relatively easy to use
Cons:
- expensive to run due to cartridges

Brother DCP-7055W review
The Brother DCP-7055W is a budget-priced laser printer with low initial purchase price, and the ability to scan and copy too.

Brother DCP-7055 multi-function laser printer and scanner
Brother's DCP-7055 is a simple little printer-scanner though, unlike most such devices, it contains a laser printer, not an inkjet one.

Good quality, economical prints.
Brother eally makes good quality printers. They are strongly built and are meant to stay. They don't get easily damaged and are very strong. Talking of features, I really like the manual duplex printing. One can easily print on both side of the paper. The speed is okay, not out of this world.
