Coffee connoisseurs will love the Breville BES840 for its ease of use and the quality of the coffee it produces. Furthermore, this infuser espresso machine comes in a variety of colours, so you can decide on the one that will enhance the look of your kitchen or bar area. You can pick from Stainless Steel, Cranberry and Black Sesame.

You and your friends will have many enjoyable times around this machine, and the 1.8L water tank will supply coffee to your friends without the need for a refill. Each friend will probably have preferences, as some people prefer a single espresso to a double. You can quickly and easily handle the list of orders by either using the 1 CUP or 2 CUP button. These buttons regulate how much coffee is deposited into the cup. They can even be programmed according to your personal preference of what a single or double espresso should consist of.

Your Breville BES840 will deposit coffee through the 15-bar pressure pump. The correct pressure building process ensures even extraction from the grinds, and bitterness is prevented by a dynamic water heating system with a purge function. This heating system keeps the water at a certain temperature so that each of your guests receives a piping hot cup of coffee.

Your cups can be topped off with some frothed milk which you can easily make by using the frothing jug supplied with the machine. It’s clear that the ideal coffee experience is catered for by the Breville BES840.

Got as a gift and thought oh wow - this is the most incredible little machine only thing it doesn't come with is a personal barista to bring me coffee in bed every morning - easy to use and quality of espresso is excellent - after using a machine like this it is difficult to use a regular coffee...

Close, very close

"I have had my Infuser for several months now. I paired it with the Smart Grinder just to keep things in the family. I think that the Smart Grinder's faults certainly affect how well the Infuser works. If the grind could be adjusted better the Infuser would perform better.

Breville BES840XL Infuser Espresso Maker

The Infuser espresso maker from Breville takes its time with your espresso. Rather than extracting flavor from your ground coffee in a burst of high pressure, the Infuser starts out slowly, with a steady low pressure infusion the expands coffee grinds for greater flavor extraction before raising the...

This is the 5th machine I've owned over 15 years and by far the best one. I will probably stick with this brand moving forward.

very reliable cappuchino

Have used the BES840XL for more than 2 years. Have NEVER cleaned it. The secret to run an extra cycle through the steam wand, and an extra cycle through the espresso with the coffee holder off the machine EVERY time I'm finished using it. I don't use the program feature.

Great Espresso for Home Use

I bought this to replace an older unit that went bad. The 1 thing the old unit had that I miss is a double boiler. That allows you to froth milk and make espresso at the same time, which is great to make drinks for lots of people. The Breville double boiler costs more than 2x.
Pros:
  • Design
  • Durable
  • Easy to Clean
  • Easy to Use
  • Quality
  • Size
  • Versatile
Cons:
  • Speed

Breville espresso

I will be returning it because the pressure gauge does not work. The steamer takes longer to work than I expected. The fit & finish is good and machine looks nice on counter.
