This machine makes exceptional coffee and is very easy to clean and maintain. I cant wait to get out of bed in the mornings and fire up this bad boy. My wife and I bought the same model second hand and over a couple of weeks it developed a boiler leak and shorted out the power.
OMG!! Could it be any simpler or any better I doubt it!! I purchased a different espresso machine prior to this one and returned it. The coffee was pre-measured by how automated the machine was and the coffee suffered because of it.

makes yummy coffee, once you get the hang of it, its a bit full on operating but once u work it all out great coffee, would recommend to buy

Great tasting coffee - just like at a good cafe. Great looking machine. Easy to use. Only reason i'm not giving 5 stars on Build Quality is it's too early to say - online reviews say they can break after a few years (that said, all coffee machines seem to also). So far perfect.

I have just bought my second Barista Express. Why? you may ask. My old machine of nearly 4 years of great service started playing up, and the thought of being without it whilst being serviced was torturous. Good sized easy to fill water tank with in-built filter Simple push button controls, programmable if wanted. Steam and hot water controls Easy to keep clean, with Reminders to clean system and drip tray. Now to enjoy another great coffee!
I bought this a few weeks ago and although it took a bit of time to get the coffee to the standard I wanted it, it was worth the effort. Went through quite a few beans getting the grind and extraction right.
