Found the non stick surface flaked off with in a short time. Only used the plastic spoon provided and wash with soft cloth. Didn't help at all.

The rice cooker boils the rice well. The price is a wet bench top. The cooker splashes out water to up to half a meter, when the lid is on. Not impressed. I put a huge lid over the cooker and a towel underneath when boiling rice. Might as well cook the rice on the stove.

Its a good looking machine & works well. Rice is cooked to perfection each time, even brown rice which can prove to be difficult at times. Really happy with this purchase.
