Bowers & Wilkins PX7 Review
We've seen an influx of good noise-cancelling wireless headphones over the last year. Bose may still have the edge, but it's facing serious competition from Apple, Sennheiser, and others, including the subject of this review, the Bowers & Wilkins PX7. At $399.99, they're priced to compete with the Bose Noise Cancelling headphones 700, and the good news is, they mostly hold their own. The sound signature is rich, with excellent sub-bass that doesn't overpower, and the ANC is quite effective. Moreover, the design is attractive, comfortable, and easy to use. Consider the PX7 a luxurious, music-lover's alternative to the Bose model.
Design
The PX7 headphones are available in gray or silver models, with a fabric-lined headband, earcups with a stylishly mottled plastic, and smooth leather on the earpads and underside of the headband for a luxurious look and feel.
