Bose SoundLink Bluetooth speakers are among the most popular -- if not, the most popular -- portable wireless speakers in terms of sales. Last year, the company launched the impressive $200 SoundLink Mini, a micro model, and now in early 2014, it's revamped its larger portable Bluetooth speaker, releasing the Bose SoundLink Bluetooth Speaker III ($299.95).

Though it remains somewhat pricey, the Bose SoundLink Bluetooth Speaker III is a superlative portable wireless loudspeaker, improving on its already impressive predecessor.

The Bose SoundLink Bluetooth Speaker III sounds great for a compact Bluetooth speaker, playing louder than its predecessor and offering much better battery life; It also has a sleek and sturdy design, an auxiliary input, and the option to swap out protective covers (sold separately).

The speaker is pricey and has no speakerphone capabilities; requires dedicated AC adapter for charging (doesn't charge via Micro-USB).

The Bose SoundLink 3 surpasses its predecessor in nearly every way, but the price tag might put it out of reach for some music lovers.

Bose is my favourite, it's gives you the true sound. I usually use it for classic musics and for the movies over my TV outdoor and even in the beach. Sound are clean the base are excellent, it is a small speaker and gives you all that.

Very loud and reliable.no bluetooth cutting off. Wont get 14hrs on high volume as describe but you will get about 5-6 hrs on the highest and 8-9hrs on aveerage and maybe 12 and low volume.gewat speaker lots of base and crisp and clear sound.

I exchanged my UE Boom for the Bose SoundLink III today and was just stunned by the sound quality. The bass is clear, crisp and quite substantial for the size of the unit. Definitely well worth the price difference (versus the UE Boom).

I bought this speaker for my outside space because I has having a hard time finding wireless speakers that I liked and fit my setup needs. When I received it, I immediately charged it up and went outside. The sound is a quality, clear, rich sound at all volume levels.
