Everything balanced

I've been using this product regularly since I bought it, and in short it hits the right marks in just about every way. Taking into account price, the sound, battery life, portability, and build quality are excellent.

Bose SoundLink Color II

For its size, the Bose SoundLink Color II delivers a very solid audio experience, with rich lows matched with crisp highs. Anyone seeking a massive subwoofer-like sound, or a super-accurate sound signature, will need to spend more money on a larger, more powerful speaker.

Solid audio performance with rich lows and well-defined highs; Easily portable, water-resistant design; Simple to operate; Useful free app

Not for audio purists or those seeking a huge bass sound; Light on accessories

Bose SoundLink Color II Review

Bose recently updated its SoundLink line of portable Bluetooth speakers, including the $129.95 SoundLink Color II, the most affordable of the bunch. Like the original, it delivers surprisingly strong audio performance for its size and price. And its water-resistant design makes it a solid candidate for poolside parties and camping trips. It's an easy pick for Bose fans, and worthy of consideration for everyone else. Design Measuring 5.3 by 5.0 by 2.3 inches (HWD), the 1.2-pound SoundLink Color II is available in black, coral red, light blue, and gray. Its slender design has rounded ends and a rubberized contour that's resistant to water—it has an IPX4 rating, so it can withstand splashes and rain, but isn't submersible for more than a very brief period. The front face of the speaker is emblazoned with the Bose logo and covered in grille perforations. The left side houses the connection for the micro USB charging cable and a 3.5mm aux input. There are controls across the top panel ...

The Bose SoundLink Color II delivers a strong Bluetooth audio experience in a compact, outdoor-friendly design.

Bose SoundLink Color II review: A great speaker gets even better

I was a fan of Bose's original SoundLink Color Bluetooth speaker and praised it for being relatively affordable -- by Bose standards anyway -- and sounding good for its compact size. Its mostly improved sequel, the SoundLink Color II, also comes in a few different color options and is similar in shape, though it's slightly shorter and squatter, and weighs a tad more (1.28 pounds. or 581g vs. 1.20 pounds or 544g) while costing the same price: $130, £120 in the UK, and AU$179 in Australia.

Modestly redesigned, the next-generation SoundLink Color is an excellent compact Bluetooth speaker that's water-resistant and has speakerphone capabilities, as well as improved sound.

Like its predecessor, the Bose SoundLink Color is a compact portable Bluetooth speaker that delivers impressive sound for its size (the sound is improved) and 8 hours of battery life; It's now water-resistant and adds speakerphone capabilities.

Soft-to-the-touch finish attracts dusts and lint; No AC adapter included.

Soundlink Mini Review

Portable speakers are known for being portable first, and sounding great...well, almost never. Bose is aiming to change that perception with the SoundLink Mini, a diminutive 1.5-pound speaker that connects to any device via Bluetooth.

Sturdy build quality; Rechargeable battery; Extremely portable; Pairs with up to six devices at the same time

No speakerphone support; Doesn't charge via USB

Bose SoundLink Wireless Mobile Speaker review

Bringing premium audio performance to mobile devices renowned for their tinny sounds, Bose has upped the music on the go ante with the SoundLink Wireless Mobile speaker, a Bluetooth enable travel speaker with the aesthetic and audio ability to act as your main home sound system.

Brilliant sound quality; Beautiful styling; Impressive build and durabil

Could be cheaper; Lack of Wi-Fi; Unstable when closed
