I have Misophonia which means I hate background noise with a vengeance. With these switched on there's immediate silence around me but I can hear my music perfectly. It's even good for the cinema - not plugged into my phone they cut out all the popcorn noise but I can still hear the film. Wonderful!

Hi everyone, I spend so many hours reading your reviews that when I saw there wasn't any for the Bose QuietComfort 20i NC, I decided to write my first review ever. So please be kind with me, I'm not a pro (and not a native neither) ;-)     You have to know... ...I'm not a huge fan of Bose products.

Low sound quality ; noisy noise canceling mode

Yet another amazing pqir of headphones by Bose.. They sound amazing and also have decent noise cancelling. Compared them to my cousin's QC 25 and was surprised to see that the noise cancelling level was very close to them. Also, it has very deep bass, unlike my soundtrue over ear.

These Headphones beats anything out there. As a First Class world traveler, they go everywhere with me. No fuss. Don't rely on any other headphones but the Bose Quite Comfort 20!

I bought these having left my Sony active noise isolating headphones in the lounge of an airport much to my wallets dismay. However, looking upon the bright side I figured this was a good excuse to look for new - and therefore hopefully better - solutions.

I had a problem that the volume controls near the ear pieces didn't seem to work. They appear to only work with an Apple device. This was annoying as on one aircraft the minimum volume was quite loud. Also the on line manual has some pages that are hard to read. Overall very good.

They don't come cheap and you can get higher-fidelity sound at the price, but we just can't ignore the fantastic noise cancellation the Bose QuietComfort 20i offer. These some of the best commuter headphones money can buy – and certainly the best in-ear noise cancelling headphones we've tried.

While Bose is at the top of the chart for noise cancelling technology, I couldn't give these headphones 5 stars for the following reasons. 1. When the battery runs out, the sound keeps going (Bonus over QC15) however sound quality is seriously degraded.

A lot of people will think they're overpriced, and they'd be right to think that. But for a certain subset of the headphone-buying population, the QC20s are an excellent product that's strongly worth considering.

The Bose QuietComfort 20 and 20i are compact in-ear headphones that sound good, are very comfortable to wear, and offer surprisingly impressive noise cancellation; The noise cancellation is powered by an integrated rechargeable lithium battery that delivers up to 16 hours of battery life

Expensive; they don't sound as good as many competing in-ear headphones in this price range; rechargeable battery isn't replaceable
