Bose QuietComfort 20i Review

Just like how Sennheiser downsized the Momentum's experience with the Momentum On-Ear, Bose has done the same with the noise cancellation products - bringing the same feature into an in-ear form factor.

Excellent noise cancellation; In-line battery & circuit compartment is fairly sleek; Adequate bass response; Vocals are handled well; Comfortable tips suit long listening sessions

Not meant for bass addicts; Expensive

Bose QuietComfort 20i Review

Supreme comfort and stellar anti-noise make the Bose QuietComfort 20i the noise-canceling buds to beat.

Superb noise cancellation; Extremely comfortable and stable fit; Slim battery pack; Audio plays without power

Expensive; Bulky inline mic/controller; Battery life could be better

Review: Bose QuietComfort 20i

Noise cancelling without the big size and requirement of keeping batteries in your luggage? Sign us up.

Excellent sound; Earpieces that truly stay in place; Noise cancellation can be easily switched on and off without affecting sound quality; Flat noise cancellation box means it's very portable and easy to stow away; Rechargeable

Short cable from the noise cancelling box is very; very short; Expensive

Awesome sound but some functionality and compatibility issues

While Bose is at the top of the chart for noise cancelling technology, I couldn't give these headphones 5 stars for the following reasons. 1. When the battery runs out, the sound keeps going (Bonus over QC15) however sound quality is seriously degraded.

See the Bose QuietComfort 20's on Amazon When noise cancellation technology first came onto the audio market, several headphone makers tried their hand at incorporating the technology in their headphones.

Bose Quiet Comfort QC20i Review: Silence Has A Steep Price

At the end of the day you'll have to consider what's more important to you. If you value ANC performance above everything else, or want to zone out during your daily commute or fly a lot of work or personal reasons, the Bose QC20i is probably the most compact solution you can get.

Smooth noise blocking and great hair!

Wife did not like the over-ear (hair issues). Sold those and got these and she loves loves them! Great for plane rides, and some (not 100%) help at F1 races. Although they are quieter this year. Anyway, I digress.

Best at allowing and cancelling noise

Best at allowing and cancelling noise at a touch of a switch... very concerning though that on the 2ND WEEK, the sound from one ear starts to disappear, from, i think tear from daily usage... hoping it's temporary... i did purhcase a two year replacement in case anything happens...

Comfortable; Good Bass; Great Sound; Lightweight

Unattractive Design

bose QC20

They work great except there is no song forward ability when using a Samsung note 2 phone, there is only start and pause capability. It is amazing how they cancel out things like airplane noise, bus engine noise and lawn mower noise.

Hi everyone, I spend so many hours reading your reviews that when I saw there wasn't any for the Bose QuietComfort 20i NC, I decided to write my first review ever. So please be kind with me, I'm not a pro (and not a native neither) ;-)     You have to know... ...I'm not a huge fan of Bose products.

Comfort

Low sound quality ; noisy noise canceling mode
