I have owned my pair for more than 3 years. I've been an owner of the Boise noise cancelling head sets since the first generation. Unfortunately the recent generations don't do as well with noise canceling. I use them all the time on my flights.

It is really hard to find any good headphones that offer such high noise cancellation and yet provide rich sound in such a small form factor and for these facts, the price of £259 appears to be justified for the Bose QuietComfort 20i.

Whenever I'm on an airplane, as soon as passengers are allowed to use electronics, at least a half-dozen pairs of Bose's Quiet Comfort headphones pop out of carry-on bags. Despite increased competition, Bose's noise-canceling headphones are pretty much the standard for air travel.
