There is a secret...
First of all, sorry for my english. Guys, this companion 20 is a very good speaker system. Solid build, beautiful speakers, a good sound. One big problem: the poor bass. Any solution?... YES!!. Download Boom from Mac App Store. Boom is an utility with an equalizer.

- Bass can at times be over-egged

Great speakers from BOSE, but a little EQ messing around is required.
I'm not a Fanboy of BOSE, but these speakers are surprisingly great. I listen to a wide array of music, all of which sound great on these versatile speakers. The Bose 20 Companion series offer a mighty punch for such a small desk footprint, they give a tight punch in bass while mid lows and highs...
Pros:
- -Nice, minimalist looking speakers
- -Design and durability is excellent -Lots of bass especially from a 2.0 system -Very fluid turn volume knob with a touch sensitive on and off button -Titanium mesh to protect speakers -Plug and play -Volume Knob has both auxilary input and headphone jack.
Cons:
- -No EQ -Bass can sometimes get somewhat overwhelming with certain genres

Awesome sound!
We own several different Bose speaker systems throughout our home. Purchase this set of speakers to connect to a Laptop in a separate gaming room... Outstanding the power and sound that comes from these speakers! WOW! Fills the room! Very pleased with this purchase.

Like we said before, there are many who have often considered Bose products to be foul but the latest inclusion of the Bose Companion 20 Speakers would definitely have taken them by surprise.
Pros:
- Great sound quality
- Loud music
- Great build

- Design could have been better
- Few lags
- Bit expensive

2.0 speakers have always created their niche in the market with the portability and affordability they provide. Simply hook it up to your laptop, mobile phone or any other audio device and you have an enhanced audio experience.

Real disappointment!!!
I'm finally looking for a replacement of these speakers after about a year of disappointing performance from the beginning. The first had to be returned because of a short or some type of malfunction.

My speakers have already broken and I did not recieve man headphones
I have always been a fab of Bose however this time id the 1st time I have bought this product through you.

BEWARE: Fatal Design Flaw
I own many Bose products, from my original late 70's floor speakers to the Soundlink III Bluetooth speaker. Sadly, this Companion 20 system has ruined, if not completely ended, my relationship with the Bose company.
