Since I don't demand sound studio quality from computer speakers, I'm happy with the Bose Companion 2 system.

For the price you cannot better and am really pleased with the rich sound qualities. I use mostly with my Android smart phone for listening to my own music and for listening with a really fantastic radio app. I would highly recommend as fantastic value for money.

Exactly what I was looking for. The bass was excessive in the Creative T20 speakers. I returned them for these and the Bose have an even balance providing a great sound for music. Cheaper too!

The sound is wonderful. The quality is excellent. The negatives does not run off of usb so that means an extra 110 cord exc. Bose speakers always run a little heavy to bass. After I found the equalizer in the computer controls these speakers are outstanding.

A couple of mouse clicks, then a few days later a guy brings some Bose speakers right to my door. Really amazing if you stop to think about it! These speakers are perfect for their intended use. I have tried a few different brands over the years and these are at the top of the list.

Had these speakers for 6 months.2nd. set i've purchased.(1was a gift) They're Ok for the price,but the cord & the audio jack are toast. the power cord stopped working last week. no big deal,standard config. using a cord from another device. Then the tip of the audio jack broke off,in my I phone!!!!!

Cons: only a 110 volt power supply and quite demanding amp draw >1.5 amps @12 volts when i had to replace my power supply ( some idiot plugged mine in to 220 when i was on a deployment) Pros: very durable Possibly self limited internally by bose.

Mobile phone interference!

First of all I do not like Bose products. This was my first purchase and I only bought these because I was in Bogota and there was NOTHING else available. These were what I expected. No tweeter means there were no highs to speak of.
