Good product, but it depends on your house wiring too.
If you are considering buying ANY brand or model of induction top you must do homework BEFORE even coming into the store. Open your switchboard and locate the circuit breaker or fuse for the hot plates/hob/cooktop (not the oven). Take a picture of this, or write down the details so you can make informed choices before committing to purchase. To operate this model of Bosch induction cooktop, it needs a separate 32Amp circuit. Our house wiring for the cooktop was only 25Amp as needed by the previous (non-induction) cooktop. The choices given by the installing electrician were: 1. You CANNOT use the BOOST function on ALL 4 places at the SAME TIME. 2. You need to run thicker wires in a conduit on the outside wall of the house, between the switchboard and induction cooktop. We chose to manage the way we use the induction cooktop. The cooktop fitted in easily to the existing space. The electrician only took 35 minutes to install the cooktop. The Bosch cooktop works well.
