When the first Borderlands was released in 2009 2k Games seemed to have a hit under their belt, and the sequels, Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, proved this as vault hunters everywhere continued to play them.

Boasting high-definition graphics that was only possible on the PC, PlayStation 4 owners can now experience this whacky and popular gaming franchise that even includes all the campaign add-ons, playable character packs, level cap upgrades, character customisations and assorted combat arenas.

There's a solid chance that, by now, you've already decided whether or not the Handsome Collection is worth your time. Fans of the Borderlands series will enjoy the slightly improved graphics, while newcomers will enjoy getting a taste of two whole games - Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The...

As famed gun merchant and narrator Marcus Kincaid would say, Borderlands is about stories: tales of villains and antiheroes, of weapons and treasure, and of course, of mysterious vaults safeguarding fantastic riches…or unspeakable horror. So the legends go, at least.

Borderlands, as a franchise, has certainly nailed the art of the opening cutscene. The original may have only opened on a bus, but it set the tone for the kind of lighthearted space western the game was.

Some unfortunate technical problems distract from what is otherwise a very generous compilation, and an entirely legitimate alternative to Destiny.

Excellent value for money, with a bewildering array of DLC; Graphics look much better at a higher resolution and split screen co-op is a very welcome new feature

Lots of texture pop-in both games, and serious frame rate problems in The Pre-Sequel; Gunplay was never great, especially compared to Destiny

This game is now quite old as it is basically a PS3 port onto PS4. Graphics arent amazing but gameplay is fun. For the amount i paid, i dont think this game was worth it.

If you've never played borderlands it's well worth your time. I play this with my wife and has excellent co-op. It struggles with some frame rate issues but if you can look past that I can't fault the game.

This is a great game if u love the series and it is easy to get into I have spent many hours on this game and it is always better with a friend

If it weren't for some minor technical issues, The Handsome Collection would be the ultimate Borderlands package. Mostly ultimate's pretty good, though.
