Borderlands 2 Review

I don't like what I'm going to say about Borderlands 2 because it's difficult to objectively support. I'm going to say it anyway and do my best to provide evidence. The game is arrogant in its brash humor and elegant in its systemic execution.

Loot; upgrades; and missions abound; Handsome Jack makes a proper baddie; Bonerfarts

Humor is difficult to swallow; Missions become repetitive; Bonerfarts

Borderlands 2: Sir Hammerlock Versus the Son of Crawmerax

Alright: May be slightly above average or simply inoffensive. Fans of the genre should enjoy them a bit, but a fair few will be left unfulfilled.

Borderlands 2 PS Vita Review: one step forward, two steps back

The mission scheme that flows with the narrative of Borderlands 2 works perfectly in a portable environment, so the concept behind a game like this on the PS Vita is justifiable. Really, Borderlands 2 is not a definitive version nor is it an equal version to its console counterpart.

Mission-based gameplay superb in portable form; Fully customizable controls; Cross-Save appeals to veterans and casuals alike

Consistently low frame rate; Co-op limited to 2 players; Missing myriad of available content

Borderlands 2 review

A great FPS / RPG hybrid, Borderlands 2 is a hilarious, fantastic co-op experience.

New depth; A storyline that's goofy; but good; Grandiose encounters

Disconnect between online co-op and your campaign; Feels artificially long and bloated; Side quests are uneven

Game of the Year for a reason

No real cons, but make sure you pick up Borderlands 2 as well. BL2 is an easier play, but I got 1 this time as I like some of the characters better and kinda enjoy some of the retro feel to it.

Great game, great price; I've played this on Steam and PS3, both are comparable and enjoyable

None really, ammo can run a little low in multiplayer and for certain weapons; However, you can always buy more, and it doesn't hurt when a game requires you to plan ahead

Gun-a-landia

If you love shooting games, this is the game for you. It has such a diversity in weapons and really good characters. The game s really good if you go multiplayer. Going solo can get a little boring at some points, but in multiplayer, it's a blast!

Borderlands 2 Review

As a huge fan of the original Borderlands, I had high expectations going into Borderlands 2. I wanted the same action-packed first person shooter gameplay, the hilarious characters, and, most importantly, the loot!

great graphics with varied scenery; fast paced gameplay; good character customization

lack of gun variety

Sweet game.

This game offers a new variety of weapons borderlands™ did not offer, as well as a larger variety of more sophisticated AI. Borderlands 2™ will allow the best customisation so you can really take advantage of your weapons and their elements.

There were a lot of things that made Borderlands such a great game when it came out three years ago: the hardscrabble planet, the oddball characters, the hostile creatures, the diverse missions, the abundant loot, the powerful skill trees, and the novelty of all these things combined in a...

A ton of great mission writing and dialogue; Enticing loot and experience rewards; Intriguing skill trees; Rich; inviting gameworld

Spoken messages sometimes interrupt each other; One character ability is not substantially different from the core gunplay; Inelegant split-screen save system

Borderlands 2: Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage

With the Mechromancer class, Captain Scarlett's pirate adventure, and now Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, Borderlands 2 is extending its base experience at a breakneck pace. Is this second DLC episode a billowing megaton spectacle or merely a smoldering dud?
