Borderlands 2 Review

Fun alone or in a group, Borderlands 2 is an excellent blend of shooting and RPG.

Borderlands 2 Review (PS3, Xbox 360)

Every once in a while , a game comes along that reminds you of exactly why you love videogames. Borderlands 2 is one of those games.

Huge scale – so much to do and see; Wonderful sense of humour and brilliantly written; Seamless co-op offers a fantastic experience

Texture fade-in can be mildly distracting; Some difficulty spikes if you're not chasing side missions; Vehicles don't handle well and can feel a tad under-used

Borderlands 2: catchup review

Borderlands was a 2009 release which sought to exploit the MMO-style desire of latent OCD suffering gamers across the world to collect bigger and better loot. It saw great success thanks to this feature and a solid co-operative system, despite never really trying particularly hard with plot.

Borderlands 2 Review

It seems I have something of a love-hate relationship with the Borderlands franchise. At first I hate it, then I love it. And after re-visiting my review of the original Borderlands, it seems my feelings about the latest game in Gearbox's popular series are pretty much identical to those I had of...

Borderlands 2 – review

With its exuberant mix of cartoonish graphics, adolescent humour and preposterous violence, Borderlands was the surprise hit of 2009. But wouldn't the inevitable sequel just be more of the same politically incorrect shoot-and-loot action? Well, yes it is and thank goodness for that.

Borderlands 2 game review: 'Near perfect'

-esque looting and superlative co-op play ensured Gearbox Software's new property more than held its own against the established franchises. There was much to love about the game - yet room for improvement too - so with the inevitable sequel comes the opportunity to iron out those creases and strive...

Borderlands 2 Review

As a huge fan of the original Borderlands, I had high expectations going into Borderlands 2. I wanted the same action-packed first person shooter gameplay, the hilarious characters, and, most importantly, the loot!

great graphics with varied scenery; fast paced gameplay; good character customization

lack of gun variety

Amazing.

I've had this for well over a year now, and is one of my most played games ever, be it in single player, online or splitscreen co-op, it offers a superb, open experience. It's well written, with semi comic-like graphics, which you'll get used to quickly.

Try it out, even if you usually don't like "First Person Shooters"

Love it. It's my best "couch co-op game" (split screen), but online co-op is also a lot of fun. And that's the best word to describe "Borderland 2". It's FUN, LOUD, and require EXCESSIVE use of CAPITAL LETTERS (just like one of the gun manufacturers in the game).
