Deep and engaging

BBCS is akin to Super Street Fighter 4 - an iterative evolution on a solid game that adds some much needed tweaks and polish. For newcomers to the series, this is an excellent place to start - the character roster, while not large as many games, exhibits a breadth and depth seldom seem; Each...

A marmite effect

It's a old saying we're familiar with: marmite you hate or love it. That's how I see Blazblue: CS, you either hate it or love it, and im with the latter of the two, I love it. I know a lot of people will turn this down because it's a 2D fighting game, and it saddens me this happens, because it truly...

Great 2D fighter

Beautiful, complex, great packaging. Complete time-sink. The caveat remains though, that for all of its aforementioned complexity, this is a niche game for 2D fighter enthusiasts. Glad that it was released in Europe.

The Epic Sequel to the original BlazBlue

This game left me blowed away after i finished the story of the original BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, i had to go and pick this one up. There mostly good changes but there are some disappointing ones.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift

In the world of fighting games, there's a very clear and distinct rift in the community.  On one side are the hardcores.  These are the guys who count individual frames of animation, know nine different variations of a character's juggle combos, and refuse to play on anything less than a $100 arcade...

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift

In case you hadn't heard, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger – a new fighting game from the dudes that brought us Guilty Gea r – was released. Also, for those who missed it, it was pretty damn good.

BlazBlue Continuum Shift

I loved BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger and even though it was the weirdest most absurd fighter, it had charm, gameplay and a story to die for... in terms of anime. Yes my dear gamers, fighters didn't have to revolve around the Tekken or Street Fighter universes and other developers could create equally...

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Review

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift is a fantastic sequel to BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, and it's easily one of the best fighting games of this console generation.
