Beautiful, complex, great packaging. Complete time-sink. The caveat remains though, that for all of its aforementioned complexity, this is a niche game for 2D fighter enthusiasts. Glad that it was released in Europe.

When BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger exploded onto the 360 in a spectacular display of 2D craftsmanship, we didn't just review it the once on import, we reviewed it again when it finally found its way to European shores after nearly a year's hiatus.
Continuum Shift adds a whole lot of new things to the series, but I'll start with the three brand new playable characters: Hazama, Tsubaki, & Mu-12. Hazama and Tsubaki are available to be played as from the start; Mu-12 however must be unlocked through the story mode.
A decent fighter with some truly unique and funny characters. Great visuals, good sounds, REALLY cheezy voice acting, but I think it's just weird writing and not the voice actors. Fighting mechanic is solid and work very well.
my daughter and i enjoy playing this game and its counterpart. great fun it lacks some of the moves available in the other game, but that may be because i haven't played it enough to figure out the button combinations.
The first BlazBlue was a blast and Continuum Shift is really much fun too. Only downside buying this game now is that the new version titled Extend is coming pretty soon and it includes extra content. Overall I recommend this game to all fighting game fans!
I sank hours of my time into the game and nearly every precious moment was spent zoning out or wishing that I could play something else. I didn't care when the ninth consecutive opponent fell at my feet with barely a whimper. I didn't much care when the next one soundly thrashed me, either.
This game is awesome with non stop heart-attack combo duel. And I love how every character have their own style and completely different way to play. This game system also have a lot of small details that make it better game. Five stars rating for me.
This game left me blowed away after i finished the story of the original BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, i had to go and pick this one up. There mostly good changes but there are some disappointing ones.
I'm sure you've all heard of Tekken and Street Fighter if you are into fighting games somewhat but I'm sure many of you havent heard of Blazblue. Blazblue is a fairly new game released by Arc System Works (known for other games like Guilty Gear,Battle Fantasia) Continuum Shift being the 2nd Blazblue...
Fun; lots of characters; beginners welcome
May be hard for people new to fighters but with patience they can learn
