Hands-on with the new BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930
We have heard a lot about the new BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930 today. First we got the announcement this morning, then we learned it would be coming to T-Mobile , Verizon, and AT&T . We got to play with one of the new Bolds today at BlackBerry World for a while and snapped some pictures to throw up on...
BlackBerry Bold 9930 Review
RIM ‘s on familiar ground with the BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930. QWERTY candybars have made the company's reputation, and while the Torch series – whether slider or all-touch – may offer interesting variations on the theme, the Bold is where the Canadians will be judged.
BlackBerry Bold 9930 review
The BlackBerry Bold 9930. You've got to hand it to RIM - the company may be spinning its wheels, but it's certainly not sitting still. While we've been hearing rumors and seeing leaked photos for some time, Research In Motion is finally about to release a slew of new products into the smartphone...- Gorgeous industrial design
- Best-in-class physical keyboard
- Speed and graphics performance greatly improved
- BlackBerry OS is dated and clunky
- Software selection is abysmal
- Cramped display can be troublesome
Blackberry Bold 9930 Meta-Review: An Amazing Keyboard That Also Comes With A Phone
On the outside, the Bold 9900 is a drop dead gorgeous BlackBerry bombshell. I can't even think of one thing I would change about it.…The new 1.2GHz processor and Snapdragon chipset provide an overall level of performance that has to be experienced to be appreciated.
BlackBerry Bold 9930 Review: Faster, Slimmer, and Totally Overpriced
I reviewed the very first BlackBerry Bold 9000 way back in October 2008, so I was excited to get my hands on the latest addition to the Bold family,- Slim
- high-quality design
- Excellent keyboard,
- Call quality is uneven
- Price
BlackBerry Bold 9930 (Verizon Wireless)
The BlackBerry Bold 9930 is the best QWERTY BlackBerry to date, but should be priced lower.- The RIM BlackBerry Bold 9930 has a wider and thinner design and is exceedingly well-made
- It boasts stunning graphics, a new touch-screen display, an amazing physical QWERTY keyboard, a faster 1.2GHz processor, and the new BlackBerry OS 7 that brings augmented reality apps, 720p HD video recording,...
- The BlackBerry Bold 9930 doesn't have the best call quality
- and we think its price is too steep.
BlackBerry Bold 9930 – Nice, But Pricey
We could describe the all new BlackBerry Bold 9930 only by saying that it is the best BlackBerry Bold handset, and by doing that we won't be lying or exaggerating it at all. This also makes it clear why RIM considers their Bold 9900 series as their flagship model in their latest line of OS 7...
BlackBerry Bold 9930 review
Of the three new BlackBerries coming out this fall, the Bold 9930 is definitely my favourite. The keyboard is superb, its design and construction is pristine and the new features in OS 7, like NFC and HD video capture, are a huge plus.
BlackBerry Bold 9930 (Verizon Wireless)
The BlackBerry Bold 9930 for Verizon Wireless--a smartphone with a small 2.8-inch display and no 4G data--costs $249. Seriously?- One of best keyboards ever on phone
- Responsive touchscreen
- Fast camera with 720p video
- Loud speaker
- Long battery life
- Display is too small
- No 4G data
- Browser doesn't support Flash
- Lackluster app selection
- Expensive
RIM BlackBerry Bold 9930 review - best BlackBerry yet
The BlackBerry Bold 9930 (and its 9900 brethren) is one of three new smartphones from RIM that run the new BlackBerry 7 OS. Of the three, the Bold is by far the most traditional BlackBerry. Dan gives it the full rundown and comes to a fairly expected conclusion in this in-depth review.- great hardware
- awesome keyboard
- fast processor
- dated OS
- smallish screen
- lack of apps
