Great phone tinged with sadness.

Excellent phone. Brilliant buying experience. But, I'm sad because this is probably old stock and Blackberry are now only concentrating on business users.

Great value for money phone

Blackberry Curve 8520 is a great phone. The optical track pad is very handy than the track ball. The OS is very fast and smooth but the display is not that good. Browsing speed and usage is very easy and the OS is very User Friendly. the phone itself is all plastic but it feels sturdy and light.
Pros:
  • Great call Quality
  • great reception
Cons:
  • Display
  • Battery life
  • No flash Support

Pros:
  • Ok at the time
Cons:
  • Lack of features, poor internet
  • boring

Mini-review: It's much the same story with the BlackBerry Curve 8520, RIM's low-end model boasts neither HSDPA nor GPS, and it couples that with very plasticky build quality and a screen that's grainy and low in resolution, at just 320 x 240.

BlackBerry's Curve 8520 smartphone is too expensive to be a serious contender

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is RIM's attempt to produce a low-cost BlackBerry. The question, as always when a premium supplier attempts to slash costs to attract new buyers, is: does it make the cutbacks in the right areas?

Very poor battery life!

With an extremely poor battery life, this doesn't impress in any way. The screen size is small and the phone often hangs after excessive use. The only good part is that it's cheap and easily available.

THIS PHONE IS A BEAST!

I bought this phone from t-mobile over 4 years ago and 2 years ago I stopped using it. Packed it away in a musty cellar, moved halfway across the country with it in a random box of junk, and then kept it in another even mustier cellar.

Nice Phone for Everyone

Blackberry brand is more famous for Business Class Phones however this model breaks that all. As it is quite cheap anyone can buy and use this phone. The Blackberry Operating System is the simplest OS after Apple's iOS so may be they both are at same level.
