blackberry phone

Phone is easy to work around and extras can be downloaded many free apps for the phone. Battery could be better but think this is true of many modern phones.

Fair enough

I bought it at the price of $144.16. I think for this fair price, this blackberry phone is fine enough.

Not what I expected

Newegg, however, was very courteous and understood the situation and gave me a refund, which which is why i gave the rating 2 eggs instead of one. Situation is not all newegg's fault, I blame their third party supplier.
Pros:
  • It arrived fast
Cons:
  • Not what I expected
  • Phone arrived in a box that was not that of what the picture displayed
  • Opened the box and found that the phone was manufactured by some 3rd world country company and did not have the T-mobile logo on it

I hate BlackBerry. But being a communications addict, being locked out of BBM eventually drove me bonkers (very widespread in the Caribbean, thanks in large part to Digicel's domination of cell phone market).

BlackBerry Curve 8520 in-depth review -

BlackBerry handsets have come a long way since they came with an obligatory suit and corporate sounding job title. They've certainly been helped along by unofficial celebrity endorsements – both Daniel Craig and even Barack Obama are known to be avid fans – but one market has evaded them.
Pros:
  • Despite its svelte appearance
  • the QWERTY keypad will appeal to regular texters and emailers
Cons:
  • We still await a camera on a BlackBerry that can be described as being ?above average?

The screen on this blackberry has malfunctioned.

The screen on this blackberry has malfunctioned and has a defect. It has numerous odd multi-colored stripes from top to bottom on the face of the phone. I am returning the blackberry to a Best Buy location to be replaced with another unit. The other features appear to be working.
