RIM's BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone is great for email addicts
With every smartphone manufacturer under the sun scrambling to produce touchscreen devices, it's almost shocking to see a smartphone arrive without one. What most BlackBerry devotees demand, however, is seamless email integration and a decent hardware keyboard, and in the Bold 9700 that's exactly...

BlackBerry Bold 9700
It's fair to say the BlackBerry Bold took the QWERTY market by storm. It was a badge that said you'd made it in business, as commuter trains packed full of suits flashing RIM's flagship device.
Pros:
- Hardware
- keyboard
- screen
Cons:
- OS lacking integration of existing online or social networking services

BlackBerry Bold 9700
The original Bold (9000) has been one of RIM's most successful handsets to date, and deservedly so. Combining distinctive looks with great build quality, easy operation, and a wealth of features, it still sits high on our list of top QWERTY keyboard-equipped smartphones over a year after its...

Review: BlackBerry Bold 9700
The BlackBerry Bold 9000 was was the first 3G/ HSDPA capable phone from Research In Motion, causing quite a stir in boardrooms around the world. RIM had set the bar high for its successor the BlackBerry Bold 9700, wanting to create a handset that is smaller, sleeker, faster and stronger.

BlackBerry Bold 9700
Look closely, you'll need to differentiate the latest Bold from one of the few BlackBerry phones released in 2009, the Curve 8520 . Both phones share the same physical footprint (109x60x14mm) and represent manufacturer Research in Motion's shift away from a central jogball for navigation instead...
Pros:
- Sleek, sexy design
- Stunning display
- Excellent performance
- Easy set-up
- Good battery life
Cons:
- Keyboard feels cramped

Cellphone Blackberry Bold 9700
My first reaction when I opened the box was: "hum, it looks cheap" by report to Curve 8900. I think that is primarily because of the lid plastic battery, and it seems that the plastic used to manufacture phone is a little less quality. However, it was not also "cheap" that the HTC Magic for example.

After previously having a 9000, I am very pleased with what Blackberry have produced. I completely disagree that it has been lowered to be more like a curve 8900 since its far better looking, & in fact better also than the old 9000.

BlackBerry Bold 9700
I've had this phone for almost two months and it is by far the best phone I've ever owned. The internet connections are fast. The rollerball has now been replaced with a more smoother track ball and it's easier to navigate. The display pictures for each menu is very big and easy to get around.
