These phones are massivley overrated, they are incredibly boring, the app gallery is a complete joke, with tacky applications that are over priced. The OS is incredibly poor, with frequent crashes, disappearing text messages, poor internet browsing experience, awful speaker, awful Youtube support,...
Pros:
- Battery life
- phone ergonomics
Cons:
- Boring OS
- Slow
- Awful App Gallery
- Poor Screen Size
- Flawed Firmware

great price, good phone, stuff missing from box
Phone appeared new and worked fine out of the box, but the plastic protection coatings/covering (like the ones that come over the screen on new phones) seem to have been pealed off slightly in certain areas.
Pros:
- Got the phone at a great low sale price with free shipping
- The deal was not advertised in the "daily deals" section or on the main page and the price only lasted 48hrs
- Good blackberry does most things well
- Bold keyboard is much better then that of the curve.
Cons:
- In my excitement to buy at such a low price I overlooked that this was a T-Mobile branded Bold
- not At&T (it is stated in the product details) Thus
- this model does not support the 3g frequency of my provider and is a little slow transferring data as a result - almost unbearably slow

BlackBerry Bold 9700 Video Review
The one consistent theme with RIM's BlackBerry devices is that they keep improving. Even with the new Storm2 9550 that's coming up, they listened to their clients regarding the Storm 9530 faults and and fixed them.

RIM BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone
RIM's new flagship BlackBerry has finally arrived. Selling alongside rather than completely replacing the previous Bold 9000 , the BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone is smaller and sleeker. On the whole it's a slight improvement on its predecessor, but it doesn't offer anything new or revolutionary.
Pros:
- Sleek
- compact design
- bright and vivid display
- comfortable keyboard
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- great integration of Facebook
- trackpad works well
Cons:
- Smaller display and keypad than its predecessor
- sluggish scrolling
- Web browser remains inferior to alternatives

Review: BlackBerry Bold 9700
The BlackBerry Bold 9700 is one sleek phone. The new smaller size gives the phone a nice feel, and the trackpad makes navigation a breeze. I even loved the faux leather treatment to the battery cover.

BlackBerry Bold 9700 Review
So is the Bold 9700 an improvement over the 9000. I should say so. As long as web browsing is not what you do most and you like a QWERTY keyboard then the Blackberry Bold 9700 is in my opinion a fantastic phone well worthy of its price, although in time I am sure most carriers will supply it free on...

Dare you go
Some handsets will work their socks off to have their fifteen minutes of fame, others are simply born into stardom. The BlackBerry Bold 9700 is certainly fortunate to carry a name that stands for popularity and excellence in the RIM family of phones.
