It's been more than a year since we reviewed the BlackBerry Torch 9800 , RIM's hybrid touch/QWERTY slider, and while the company says the smartphone has gone on to be one of their more popular devices, we couldn't get past the underwhelming screen resolution and easily choked processor.

Blackberry Torch 2 (9810) – a small, but welcome upgrade to the first Torch

Overall, the Torch 2 is a great improvement over the previous model, although it's not exact a quantum leap, either. But if you want a Blackberry that can keep up with the time, this is your best bet for the moment.

Whether the 9810 is recommended depends on who you are. If you are coming from the previous Torch, and you liked it but wished it was faster, the 9810 is for you, you won't be disappointed.

BlackBerry Torch 9810 review

Samsung recently released the Samsung Galaxy S II which is arguably the best Android smartphone out at the moment (even possibly the best phone in any OS category) but they felt that having this title wasn't enough, they wanted to own the title of biggest Android Smartphone in the world too.
