From a distance, you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between the new BlackBerry Torch 9810 and its predecessor, the Torch 9800. But it's what makers RIM have crammed inside this touchscreen-keyboard combo.

Great Blackberry
The other reviewer (who's tech level needs to be dropped to zero) wrote a review on the 9800 model (not the 9810!) which is slower and has similar hardware as the much older models. This post needs to be removed as the 9810 was only released 2 months ago.
Pros:
- This phone is great! The hardware boost and makes this phone not only fast, but fun to use
- The camera is much faster and takes better pictures than the older Blackberry devices
- I also love it because it supports virtual any GSM band in the world, meaning I can get 3G or better speeds anywhere I...

It was upgrade time and I was torn between this and the 9900! The 9900 definetly wins looks wise (and keyboard), however, I found the 9810 better function wise when I tried them both in the shop. The 9810's browser is much improved over the original torch and the review above is spot on.

BlackBerry Torch 9810
Experts agree that the BlackBerry Torch 9810 is a solid phone and praise its price. TheVerge.com's Joanna Stern says she'd still be a BlackBerry user had this been RIM's original Torch from a year ago. However, critics also agree that it simply can't compete with Apple and Android.
Pros:
- Sharp
- responsive touch screen
- Fast web browser
- Speedy interface
- Good battery life
- Excellent keyboard
Cons:
- Recycled design
- New OS not very different from predecessor
- False signal strength
- Lack of apps
- Lack of Flash support

BlackBerry Torch 9810 (T-Mobile)
The RIM BlackBerry Torch 9810 should satisfy BlackBerry fans with its responsive touch screen and overall specs, but for $50 more, T-Mobile customers could get the much better Bold 9900 instead.
Pros:
- The RIM BlackBerry Torch 9810 has a sharp and vibrant touch screen
- a decent physical keyboard
- BlackBerry 7 OS
- a 1.2GHz processor
- and 720p HD video recording
Cons:
- The RIM BlackBerry Torch 9810's design is similar to a previous generation model
- and it is far more expensive than the AT&T version of the same phone

The 3.2 inches touchscreen feels just about adequate for somebody who's been using touchscreen smartphones. The 480×640 resolution gives the Torch 9810 a very respectable 250ppi pixel density. Pretty much any image and text on the screen looks clear and rich in color.

Cant stop loving it
I am a hardcore blackberry fan and just cannot go for any other option. I recently bought Blackberry torch 9810 for myself. The exterior of the phone is impressive and has a glossy appearance.

BlackBerry Torch 9810 review
BlackBerry may have lost its dominance of the business phone market, but you've got to give manufacturer RIM credit for keeping up in an increasingly crowded race. Of its recent slew of handsets the Torch 9810 is the one with the slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and includes a capacitive touchscreen and...
