The 3.2 inches touchscreen feels just about adequate for somebody who's been using touchscreen smartphones. The 480×640 resolution gives the Torch 9810 a very respectable 250ppi pixel density. Pretty much any image and text on the screen looks clear and rich in color.

Cant stop loving it
I am a hardcore blackberry fan and just cannot go for any other option. I recently bought Blackberry torch 9810 for myself. The exterior of the phone is impressive and has a glossy appearance.

The software is smooth and performs well, the browser out performs my Sony Xperia Arc S. The build quality is improved from the original 9800, no more wobbly screen :D, keyboard is tactile and responsive and the screen is the same, very smooth the Liquid Graphics UI has something to do with that.

The BlackBerry Torch 9810 is not a complete overhaul of its predecessor. Nor is it an attention-grabbing smartphone that will lure shoppers away from iPhones and Android devices . But it is a solid smartphone with a very good feature set, including BlackBerry's excellent messaging capabilities, that...

Review of RIM's BlackBerry Torch 9810 (AT&T) QWERTY slider smartphone
Research In Motion's BlackBerry Torch 9810 is the second iteration of the company's original touchscreen/QWERTY slider smartphone. It replaces the 9800 model offered by AT&T last year, and offers upgrades on a number of the main components - not the least of which is the new high-res touchscreen...

The 9810 fills me with a slight sense of apathy. Yes it's a fine phone, but it's a year too late. The 9810 is without a doubt, what the 9800 should have been. RIM's slow pace of evolution has put the company in a dangerous position, and with the 9810, it feels like RIM is playing catch-up with...

- Vastly improved web browser
- Liquid Graphics
- Much needed performance boost.
Cons:
- Small BlackBerry App World catalogue and lack of BlackBerry OS 7 apps

- No front-facing camera.
