5 stars great game

One of the best games I've played, didn't want to stop playing, the acting is great and really draws you in and the game itself is gripping and tugs on you emotionally

sucks

Just like Heavy Rain before it, David Cage once again proves that he has no idea what the hell he's doing in film or video games. He has no idea that video games are first and foremost about 3 words. Gameplay, gameplay and gameplay. The rest is icing on the cake.

Awesome price

Brother and sister wanted some new games for their PS3 and PS4. Bought 4 titles. This 1 was on clearance for under $10. We loved the movie quaility graphics and the story to this one. Bought at Lynchburg, VA Toys"R"Us Store.

A fascinating mess!

With its motion-captured performances from Hollywood talent, realistic graphics, and thumping score, Beyond: Two Souls doesn't just want to be seen as a mere "game". It wants to be viewed as a movie, and it lets you know this right from the beginning.

* Great Visuals

* Disjointed plot

AMAZING game, left me wanting more

BEYOND: Two Souls was an absolutely amazing game. I just finished it a few days ago, and, wow. It made me laugh, cry (literally), and I loved it all the way through. If you like Heavy Rain, you'll love this game. GRAPHICS were outstanding, looked exactly like a movie.

Say you'll haunt me.

The PS4 port of Beyond: Two Souls doesn't fix the game's core issues. It's still a very stilted, awkward experience in spots, usually right after a stretch where the gameplay and narrative get everything right.

Great graphical upgrades; Wonderful performances from Page and Dafoe; Strong implementation of QTEs and branching paths

Inconsistent supporting cast; Some messy tonal shifts

Immersive and enjoyable

Very clever game. It's a shame that the never ending development of games and consoles means that many people will not play some of the gems that came out on PS3.

Beyond: Two Souls review

If the problems and lack of gameplay don't scare you off at the outset, Beyond: Two Souls is simply a must buy. It's beautiful, fastidiously detailed and a focused vision with great performances to drive a touching and sobering story.

+ Gorgeous and meticulously detailed; + Ellen Page's performance is stunning; + Choice shapes characters rather than plot

- Arbitrarily simple gameplay; - Quick time events aplenty; - Choice shapes characters rather than the plot; - Minimal remaster; way too expensive
