Battlefield V - PlayStation 4

Shoot a online opponent point blank with a RPG just to get 20 points for a hit, he comes around from behind and stabs me dead. I empty a SMG clip into a online opponents back, multiple bullets, again just some points for a hit and he turns around kills me with one bullet.

I've played many a battlefield game but this is a hunk of garbage. I bought it for $20 and it still wasn't worth it. It's still a bug riddled disaster and every time they patch something they mess the game up more. Except the surprise mechanics that is, they make sure those things work flawlessly.

Stick to BF4

It's very buggy and more like a beta than a finished game. The player base is way down, BF4 seems to have more players. Maybe wait a year till its in the bargain bin and it might be done by then.

Battlefield 5 Review – What is it Good For

"The good soldier kills without thinking of his adversary as a human being," begins Battlefield 5 . But, if you were expecting a treatise on war and the human condition, you'd be better off looking elsewhere.

Frontlines is still one of the most engaging multiplayer modes around

At least attempts to integrate different gameplay styles in campaign; Tags

Great game

I've been playing this for over a month now and i'm really enjoying it. The maps are massive and the game play gripping and exciting. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality shooter with loads of game play time.

Incredible graphics

The most realistic FPS on the market. Limited progression for weapons and classes keep everyone somewhat on an level playing field. Sniper class slightly OP'ed.

Meh.

I have followed the Battlefield series since Battlefield 1942. It's the game I have spent most of my gaming time on throughout my life I would say. That has all changed with Battlefield V. It pretty much just feels like I've paid for some new maps. There really isn't anything in this version that makes me feel like its a new game, and I've been pretty disappointed with it. This is the first Battlefield game of the entire series, that I think I've spent less than 20 hours total on, and I got it from release. It's always been my ‘go to’ game to unwind and have a bit of fun. I'm not drawn to this one, and with my PSN Plus account expiring soon, I haven't even felt the need to renew that, because BF was all I used to play, and now I pretty much don't touch it. Hopefully I'll get into the next one. Such a disappointment.

BF5 on sale.

Battlefield 5 is up for sale on Mightyape's January 2019 sale. $59.00 a better deal than what I paid for the $128 edition on release. I could never imagine BF3, or bad company 2 or even bf4 dropping in price this quick.

Battlefield V review – come back later

EA and DICE return to the Second World War with a game that is full of potential but sadly lacking in content.

The core gameplay is great, with solid gunplay, traversal, and a useful new Fortifications system; Excellent graphics and destruction effects, and stunning sound design

The game is clearly only half-finished, with missing features and content in every mode; Too few maps, none of which are particularly good; No major new ideas and lots of bugs and glitches
