Battlefield V Review

World War II is where the Battlefield series began over 16 years ago, and now the latest game in the franchise, Battlefield V , returns to those well-worn fields and streets. A lot has changed in the series in the years since it debuted - BFV wa s supposed to be a big step forward for the franchise,...

Incredible visuals and sound design

Lots of bugs; and a disappointing story campaign

Battlefield V

Out of all of the FPS titles I play, the Battlefield series is probably my favourite overall, with Battlefield 4 in particular playing host to some personal best kills, epic battles and a heavily active community that persists even to this day.

Game Review: Battlefield V

To say that Battlefield V has had an uphill battle before the game actually released is an understatement. I won't go into the ins and outs of why fans were unhappy with the pre-release reveals, as I just want to concentrate on what we're here for, to talk about the review of the game.

Battlefield V - PlayStation 4

Shoot a online opponent point blank with a RPG just to get 20 points for a hit, he comes around from behind and stabs me dead. I empty a SMG clip into a online opponents back, multiple bullets, again just some points for a hit and he turns around kills me with one bullet.

Battlefield V review: A state of the art WWII shooter – but it's not all there yet

Overall, Battlefield V is a fine shooter to both behold and play: the way in which it sucks you deep into the full horror (and thrill) of a terrifyingly realistic rendition of World War II is simply magnificent.

Looks and sounds amazing; Epic maps; WWII brings better weaponry and vehicles; Well-judged classes; Incredible destructibility; War Stories fresh and full of character; Grand Operations add a sense of storyline to multiplayer

Tides of War plus one War Story and Firestorm conspicuous by their absence at launch; Dumb AI in single-player campaign; A few visual glitches persist; Battle royale is included but hard to access; Single-player campaign too short at launch

Excellent

Cracking game so far. I'm hoping they aren't going to take the mick with the DLC costing a lot as that's what really spoilt BF1 for me.

Battlefield V Review – Beautiful Yet Flawed

I've had my doubts about Battlefield V for some time now, and after playing it, I'm more conflicted than ever. ...

High level of fidelity; Character classes feels polished; Good Single player campaign

Feels incomplete at times

Ignore the 1 star reviews

I have been a Battlefield veteran, (having played as far back as Battlefield 2), and I can vouch for this game. Its not perfect by any means, but the post release content does suggest theyre willing to work towards it (which will all be free).

Battlefield 5 Review – What is it Good For

"The good soldier kills without thinking of his adversary as a human being," begins Battlefield 5 . But, if you were expecting a treatise on war and the human condition, you'd be better off looking elsewhere.

Frontlines is still one of the most engaging multiplayer modes around

At least attempts to integrate different gameplay styles in campaign; Tags

Battlefield V

I brought this for my partner and he didn't know he was getting it he thought he had to wait until after Christmas but since the game has arrived he has played it non stop and he love the game I would recommend it to anyone who wants to keep their partner quiet.
