Battlefield 4 Naval Strike

Battlefield 4: Naval Strike is the third released DLC package for DICE and EA's hit first-person shooter title. Anyone that claims to have not had any problems running Battlefield 4 , especially on consoles, is either lying or one of the few lucky people that has been able to fully enjoy the game...

Battlefield 4 review

It's not leaps and bounds better than Battlefield 3 - they might even be too close to one another for some likings - but it does enough to feel refreshing. Slick map design, defined realism and a distinguished team-based feel make it the ultimate shooter.

+ Same great refined MP experience; + Outstanding visuals; + Powerful; intimidating realism

- Lacking campaign; - Some large events are all effort; little reward

Battlefield 4

Multiplayer shooters don't get better than Battlefield 4. Incredible destruction, smart map design, and solid tech combine to produce a true showcase for PS4 and PC. While solo play still lags behind, it's a big step up from BF3.

Multiplayer is genre-leading; again; Levolution and destruction is amazing; Single-player is much improved..

...but the story is nonsense; Defuse mode falls flat

Battlefield 4 review

The textures load slower than an octogenarian on a Segway, the single-player campaign is such a waste of time that you rather play Farmville and the odd crash or two in multiplayer ends up [...]

D.I.C.E. set out to do one thing with the Battlefield series and that is tell a compelling story through epic events and sequences that help shape the battlefield. Many will find things to love about Battlefield 4, as well as hate, but at the end of the day, it's one of the greatest first-person...

Battlefield 4 Xbox One Review

is an excellent multiplayer game that makes the most of its ambitions, proving once again that destruction is a valuable strategic addition to competitive combat, which reaches its full potential with two killer Commanders are bringing out the best in their squads.

Incredible map design; Dynamic environments; Rewarding Commander Mode

Mode/map mismatches; Mediocre single-player

Battlefield 4 (Xbox One)

For more than a decade, EA's Battlefield series has been on the cutting-edge of multiplayer first-person shooters for the PC. However, with the new Medal of Honor titles failing to set the world on fire, the franchise has now taken the role of Call of Duty competitor on consoles starting with 2011's...

Battlefield 4

Jumping into a 'Battlefield 4' match online means a couple of things. You're going to choose a class – Recon, Assault, Engineer or Support. You're likely going to die, multiple times, at the gun of somebody employing a tactic you hadn't considered, to which, you will (eventually) adjust accordingly.

Battlefield 4 Review

It's become abundantly clear over recent years that modern or near-future military shooters of the first-person variety don't place a high emphasis on story, especially when compared to their multiplayer components. In Battlefield 4 , this trend hasn't been bucked, only reinforced.

'Levolutions' add to strategy; destruction; and overall fun; Same addictive class and leveling system; Visually stunning

Forgettable narrative
