Small issues aside, Battlefield 1 marks an impressive, risk-taking reinvention for the series. That the multiplayer is as good and distinctive as it is is less surprising than a campaign that takes a difficult setting and navigates it with skill and invention.

Battlefield 1 Review

After too many years of high-tech weapons, police chases, and sci-fi gadgets, DICE knows better than most developers that what it takes to make a great first-person war shooter is two-fold: the exhilaration a player experiences when they survive an unstoppable onslaught, and how, in those same...

A shooter with a conscience; Memorable campaign; Excellent production quality; Operations are one of the most exciting multiplayer innovations in years; A bevy of extras will have fans playing all year

Battlefield 1 (PS4) Review – Battlefield is back!

My fondest memory of war was, as a kid, sitting in front of what felt like a giant movie theatre screen in my uncle's living room staring up at Tom Hanks on Omaha Beach, paralyzed, surrounded by death, destruction and chaos.
