Terrific good on-ear nap! I upgraded to these from the predecessor H8 they were incredibly good - here are some differences - Myyyyyck longer battery life, these have 30h battery with noisecancelling and bt on which is incredibly good "Better noicecancelling compared to H8, would say that they are...
For both audio and noise cancellation, we actually like the on-ear Beoplay H8i headphones more than their pricier over-ear sibling, the Beoplay H9i. Neither can match the QuietComfort 35 II's noise cancellation prowess, but they both offer better-than-average performance.
Strong audio performance with deep bass response and crisp, bright highs; Good noise cancellation; Transparency mode lets you hear your surroundings; Free app has adjustable EQ
Expensive; Auto-pause/play function gets old quick
B&O Play has two new pairs of noise-canceling Bluetooth headphones, and both are more expensive than the leader in the category, the QuietComfort 35 II from Bose. The $399 on-ear Beoplay H8i headphones are the less expensive of the two, and we actually prefer them slightly to over-ear Beoplay H9i, which cost $100 more. Neither model can match Bose's top-of-the-line noise cancellation performance, but if audio (or a stylish design) is more of a priority, the Beoplay H8i is a pair worth considering. Design Available in beige-and-gray or black models, the supra-aural (on-ear) Beoplay H8i headphones look stylish and luxurious, with different types of leather used on the headband and earpads. The on-ear fit is quite comfortable—the earpads are generously cushioned with memory foam, and the headband, which looks less padded, is still quite easy on the scalp in terms of pressure or long-term fatigue. The earcups, which block out a solid swatch of room noise passively, manage to create an...
The on-ear B&O Play Beoplay H8i headphones deliver strong, balanced Bluetooth audio and solid noise cancellation for a high price.

I was recently able to get my hands on the new on-ear, noise cancelling headphones from Bang and Olufsen. The Beoplay H8i headphones go for $399.00. Are they worth the price Today I'll try to find out with this Bang and Olufsen Beoplay H8i noise cancelling headphones review.
When deciding on a pair of headphones, people either go for an over-ear model such as the Sony WH1000XM2 which surrounds your ears and almost completely blocks noises from the outside world, or an in-ear model such as the Beoplay E8 that snugly fits in your ear canal.
Excellent battery life; Luxurious materials; Light weight
Slips off your head easily; Expensive
In a very unfair comparison, I am comparing them with my four year old Bose cans, which are the only other headphones I have with active noise cancellation. B&O wins hands-down. Appearance - black, understated. My daughter doesn't like them because they aren't Beats.
The B&O Beoplay H8i headphones are a pair of wireless Bluetooth-connected, active noise cancelling cans. They offer a combination of high-quality audio with premium design and build materials. As you'd imagine, they're expensive. But you get what you pay for.
Excellent sound quality; Brilliant noise cancelling; Light and compact; Huge battery life
Headband could be more padded; Auto-pause can be too sensitive and annoying; Expensive
I love these. It was easy to connect. Very comfortable, not hot or heavy. Sound great. Very happy. Had a set of Nuraphones, but they hurt my ears. The B&O are much lighter. The bass isn't as stong, but OK for my taste. I would reccomend these.
Sound great; Very comfortable; Easy connection
None
I was looking for a set of noise cancelling headphones for ages, and kept coming back to the 2 usual suspects, Bose QC35ii and Sony 1000XM2's. I didn't like the sound quality from the Bose (it was just completely boring, flat even), and the Sony have the well documented hinge issue.
