So far very happy with the sound and quality. I found that is very challenging to get the earbuds paired with any other device other than Apple. I am still trying to figure out how to turn it off, many times it remained paired even when it is stored inside the charger case.
The Beoplay E8 true wireless earbuds have a great battery life and surprisingly good sound, but the high price and annoying connectivity make it hard to recommend to anyone that doesn't enjoy burning cash.
Battery life; Pretty good sound; Slick charging case; Transparancy features are great; Playback controls work perfectly
Price; Doesn't auto-connecting when you open the case; No sweat resistance; Weak EQ options in the app; Uncomfortable
The Beoplay E8 wireless from B&O Play is one of the best sounding and best designed pairs of wire-free earphones that we've tested, but it does lack in some features and the audio transparency isn't as good as the competition.
Attractive looks; Carry case is portable and well designed; Battery life is good for wire-free in-ears; Dynamic and full sound; Adjustable EQ within app
Not as snug-fitting as some; Micro-USB charging port is inconvenient (where's the USB-C; Touch-sensitive controls not perfect; Expensive
The B&O E8 are among the most stylish wireless in-ears money can buy but they come with a hefty price tag
Beautiful design; Intuitive; touch-based controls; Impressive sound quality
Expensive; Patchy pairing process
B&O will need to go back to the drawing board to sort out a few issues but for a first attempt they've done pretty well.
The quality of these is evident throughout including the packaging. Inside the box you get the earphones, spare ear buds, USB cable, quick start guide and a carry case which is also the charging dock.
One of the most impressive pairs of earbuds on the market has its downsides.
"I was debating getting this due to the price but after listening to it all my worries are lost. The quality of the sound is breathtaking as you would expect from B&O and absolutely smashes all the competitors from Bose etc. Even at 100% volume the sound is crisp with outstanding bass and treble.
The sound quality for music is nice, but phone calls are muffled and I have to max out the volume. Additionally, the Bluetooth connection is flaky and the earbuds need to be reset constantly but that could be the phone (Google pixel 2XL).
